Betadine Gargle Solution contains povidone iodine 100mg/ml (equivalent to 10mg/ml available iodine). It is a medicine used to disinfect the mouth and throat and to help eliminate bad breath.

Safety
This is a medicine. Read the package leaflet before use. Do not swallow. Do not use if you are allergic to iodine or povidone, if you are pregnant, in children under 6 years, or if you have hyperthyroidism or another acute thyroid disease. If you have a goitre, thyroid nodules or another thyroid condition, do not use for long periods. If breastfeeding, avoid prolonged use. Do not use for more than 14 consecutive days. Keep out of reach of children. Always read and follow the directions and warnings on the pack.
