Meerlust Red, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot South Africa

Meerlust red is the result of a wine made only in quality harvest years and is obtained from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. After aging in French oak barrels for 17 months, it presents a profile of intense fresh red fruit combined with floral and spicy notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a soft and silky texture, making it very pleasant to consume.

Meerlust Estate is located in Stellenbosch, a premium quality wine growing area in the Coastal region, off the Western Cape of South Africa. A family-owned company that began its journey in the world of wine in 1756, it is currently led by the 8th generation of the Myburgh family, and is also recognized worldwide for the quality of its wines.
