Dona Paterna Brut is a 100% Alvarinho sparkling wine from the Dona Paterna winery at Quinta da Carvalheira in Paderne, near Melgaço, in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region of Vinho Verde. It is made by the classic method, with a second fermentation in bottle, and has a citrine colour, fine persistent bubbles and the fruit of the Alvarinho grape.
